Scouts are the eldest of the group ranging from 10 ½ to 14, both boys and girls.

The program is structured so they have a say in what, when and how they do things, it is aimed at giving them a greater degree of responsibility for what they do.

As with the other sections they have the chance for adventurous activities if they wish or creative evenings at the hut. They can also try their hand at abseiling, kayaking as well as camping.

During their time in Scouts, they have the opportunity to earn a vast assortment of Activity badges, 8 Challenge badges and 6 stage badges, all of which are appropriate to their age group. Some will be earned working as a group, others while on camp and a few they can do at home. The final achievement is earning their Chief Scouts Gold Award.
